Thank you for your interest in the Housing Industry Foundation’s renovation program. Completing this form enables HIF staff to assess your eligibility and learn more about your organization’s needs.

Please note that this is not an application. Submitting this form does not guarantee a renovation. 

In 2027, HIF has limited capacity for renovation projects and will focus on 1-2 smaller-scale repairs and renovations. HIF staff will review each submission and assess it based on need, project scope, and our available capacity.

Eligibility Requirements

To be eligible to receive a renovation, agencies must meet all of the following criteria:

• The organization is a nonprofit entity with valid 501(c)(3) status.
• The facility is located within HIF’s service area of Alameda, San Mateo, or Santa Clara County.
• The facility or agency provides permanent, transitional, or temporary housing and safe environments for individuals and families experiencing homelessness.
